I created my first Gmail account and opened a YouTube channel at the same time. At that point, I did not know that Gmail is actually a passport to the world of the internet. After opening YouTube, I started watching videos, mainly for application-related information, checking who was saying what. I had no idea what YouTube really was. I did not understand how monetization works or how people earn money. In 2017, a personal incident happened that caused me to leave my hometown, Jhal Magsi, and move to Quetta. Even after moving, I still used YouTube only to gather information and did not know that one could earn from uploading videos.
